Pilgrims Sales & Lettings are one of the main sponsors for the local football club Sheerwater FC and last weekend they held a charity evening for a hospice very close to the players hearts the evening was a huge success!

The day started with Sheerwater FC playing at home to high flying Fleet Town destined for the playoffs in the Combined Counties League South Division on Saturday 22nd February.

Sheerwater won the match 3-1 in front of a crowd of 134!!

The match was sponsored by a former player of the Sheers, Sam Black who was raising funds for the Woking & Sam Beare Hospice during the day and at the Sheerwater FC Race Night that followed the match.

Sheerwater FC estimates that the money raised will exceed £1000!!

Sheerwater FC is a community orientated club and welcomes everyone to come along and enjoy a good grassroots football match – children can watch for free and there’s a fully stocked bar with drinks, snacks and hot food – we would love to see you supporting this great local team!
